What’s your favorite spot/location to be active?
Mountains, rocks, nature in general.
How do you prepare for a project/contest?
First I try to get as much information as possible and then I start with a strict training and nutrition plan.

2010, April. Nominees for the Piolet d'Or, Chamonix, France –first ascent new peak 6134m.
2010, May. Gold Edelweiss (Vertical Film Award) for best climb in 2009. The peak of 6134, China Minya Konka.
2009, December. Golden Piton (Price of the American magazine ‘Climbing’) for climbing on the route carte blanche to § 6134.
2009 Russian Piolet d'Or for best climb in 2009. The Western Wall 6134, China Minya Konka massif. In the two-man team with Mikhail Mikhailov.
2005 Piolet D'Or for best climb in 2004. North Face of Jannu. The Russian team for the project "Russian Way - Wall of Peace".
2002 Gold Edelweiss (Vertical Film Award) for best climb in 2002, the peak of the Great Sail, Baffin Land, Polar Canada.
1996 Best in Russia climbing peak Aksu/5217m / North Face, direct, new route, Kyrgyzstan.
What are your next goals related to your sport?
Unclimbed peaks all over the world: For example in Greenland, Antarctica, Nepal, Pakistan.

What’s your favorite thing to do on a day off?
I go climbing.
